CASE STUDY - ADOBE SYMPOSIUM

Overview

Spanning 3 days, and across multiple venues, Adobe gathered over 4,500 business leaders, marketers, creative digital professionals and IT and digital experts from across the globe for one of the largest digital experience conferences in the APAC region.

Collaboration

This was the fourth year Adobe had engaged David Thomson Photography to provide them with all their photography requirements for this large scale event.

Based on our experience with this event in previous years we engaged closely with Adobe beforehand and advised extensively on the required level of coverage for all on-site and off-site requirements, ensuring each element had the appropriate resources allocated to meet both expectations and budgets.

Solutions

7 photographers over three days, each with dedicated briefs and outcomes.

On-site image editor on main Symposium days.

On-site producer ensuring a single point of contact between the client, our photographers and on-site editor.

Off-site producer liaisoning between our off-site photographers and our off-site editor ensuring both highlight edits and final edits were on track to hit our tight deadline deliveries.

Outcomes

Our on-site editor ensured Adobe was able to deliver a constant live feed of images from keynotes, breakouts, activations, the experience floor and after-party to both Adobe and their key media partners for immediate use across social channels.

Extensive gallery of highlight images within 24 hours post-event.

3,200 images colour corrected, resized and delivered to Adobe as high and low-resolution files within 72 hours post-event.

Feedback

“We used David Thomson Photography to provide the photography for our annual Symposium event in Sydney.  The briefs for this large-scale event were multi-faceted. The daytime sessions were varied across numerous locations, with activities and keynote speakers happening at simultaneous times. His team’s ability to seamlessly manage this demanding schedule and deliver outstanding results are the reasons they are our first choice photographers”.
